Sacred Arts Tour

Closing Ceremony

Marshall J. Gardner Center For The Arts

Join in the closing ceremony which starts at the Marshall J. Gardner Center for the Arts and ends at Lake Michigan. The monks pray and chant, and then sweep up the sand mandala they’ve spent 5 days creating and then proceed to the beach just to the west of the concession stand at Marquette Park to release it into Lake Michigan. This is a very interesting experience you won’t want to miss!

See facebook for more information and updates to the week long schedule.

The monks from the Drepung Gomang monestary are returning to Miller Beach for the 4th year. Events will be taking place all week.
