reFLEXion. Works from the Collections of Felix Maldonado Jr

Muralist and painter Felix Maldonado’s work ranges from abstract to graffiti art to portraiture, with significant commissions in creating large-scale works. His message often relates to political and historical situations where the work is strategically placed within its geographic context. Widely known for his mural of the Jackson Five that graced downtown Gary for many years, “reFLEXion” is a select example of the vast and versatile paintings he has created throughout his artistic career.
Join us to celebrate FLEX at the opening of this exhibit on October 11, 6 – 8pm.
