Come chat with the artist, Allison Svoboda, and stay for the workshop!
Join exhibiting artist Allison Svoboda as she discusses her intriguing techniques…using ink, water, salt, paper, and breath to create large-scale paintings and collages that reflect organic patterns found in nature. Svoboda has been the recipient of many residencies including a 2016 Hemera Fellowship to study shibori, orizomegami, and calligraphy in Japan.
Allison is an internationally exhibited artist who often creates delicate, ephemeral installations of paper and other materials. Nature is her inspiration.
“Artist's talk” is part of the larger “Allison Svoboda” event, and part of our Artist Talk, Exhibits, and Workshops series.
