A Spoken Word Event

Accompanying the exhibit, the Miller Community Theater will present an evening of spoken word by local poets and storytellers. The Black Experience: Martin Luther King and Beyond offers interpretations of the Black experience in our ever-changing world. This event takes place Friday, March 8, 7pm at the gallery, $10 admission.

Jamika Smith is an artist and upholsterer, founder of Teena’s Legacy, and an MBACD board member.
