Giving Tuesday

Let’s Celebrate Generosity this #GivingTuesday!

The year 2020 has definitely been a challenge. But we have seen some silver linings in the way this global pandemic has encouraged us to tap deeper into our creativity, finding new ways to foster the arts and build community.

The Miller Beach Arts & Creative District believes we all thrive when we can reach out to connect and celebrate the arts with our community. We are so thankful for the many people who volunteer and who participate to help us make this connection with a place to experience culture and exchange ideas. Through our work together, we continue to create opportunities for people to share their gifts of art, music, culture and community with friends new and old.

While adapting to the physical limitations of life during the pandemic, we were successful in welcoming some amazing artists who brought people together to enjoy, learn and grow through socially distanced exhibits and events, including these:

For there to be silver linings, however, there must also be clouds. During the pandemic, we have had to curtail holding larger events, exhibits and fundraisers. This has negatively impacted our capacity to earn vital operating income even as we confronted the challenge of providing a safe place for the cultural and community events that are at the heart of what we do!

So, in the spirit of #GivingTuesday, we are reaching out to our treasured community to say “thank you” for all that we have been able to create together. And we are also asking for essential financial support.

Please consider donating to the Miller Beach Arts & Creative District

so we can continue weathering this storm and providing quality and essential programming for our community. With your help, we will keep working to create space and opportunity for the arts to thrive and grow. Whether it’s $5 or $500, your contribution makes an big impact because every gift keeps us together – which is where we want to be.
