Saturday Morning Art: Recycled Printmaking

Make “etchings” using household items and ordinary packaging materials instead of chemicals and copper plates! In this class, you will learn traditional printing techniques while exploring various methods of creating line, tone, and texture using recycled Tetrapak cartons. $25.

Catherine Sollman is a printmaker with over 20 years of experience who has taught privately as well as in the high school setting. She is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Having continued her studies at Anchor Graphics, Spudnik Press, and Frogman’s Print Workshop among others, she works out of her home studio, focusing on monotype and relief.
