Region Rising emerging artists exhibit

Opening Reception Fri March 19 6-8pm

The Region Rising exhibit runs March 19th to April 25, 2021 OPENING RECEPTION Friday March 19th 6-8pm.

Please help us welcome the “Region Rising” group exhibit featuring 8 emerging regional artists. In addition to paintings, drawings and photography, there will be live art demonstrations and artist talks on opening night Friday March 19th from 6-8pm.

Artists exhibiting in this show are: Jazmin Bazile, Raymar Brunson, Nicholas Brokemond, Naeem Davis, Kayelyn Holloway, Logan Riley, Letrese Steverson and Leeia Underwood. Artists all attended high schools in the NWI Region.

Gallery hours are Fridays and Saturdays 6-8pm, Sundays 2-4pm. Marshall J. Gardner Center for the Arts, 540 S. Lake Street, Gary IN 46403

A $5 entry fee is requested because of the coronavirus pandemic’s impact on the finances of the Miller Beach Arts and Creative District.

COVID-19 safety To ensure everyone’s safety, staff and visitors ages two and older are required to wear masks and practice physical distancing, and the number of visitors may be limited to allow for social distancing. The art center is a 5,000 sq ft facility, and the MBACD has implemented more frequent cleaning measures and adopted additional safety protocols for visitors and staff.
