Open to artists and aspiring artists of all abilities! The class will start with a series of exercises that help overcome some of the barriers to good drawing and art-making with each class building on the preceding class. We will start in the studio and, weather permitting, move outside. Each student will receive a sketchpad and drawing pencils. The class is open to all artists 12 and up — children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. $20 class fee donation.
Chris Toepfer is an artist and Miller resident who runs a not for profit dedicated to neighborhood revitalization and community art (www.tnfamerica.com). He received his MFA in painting and drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2012.
