Sci-Fi fans unite and come down to the Gardner Center for the 1977 classic, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, starring Richard Dreyfuss, Melinda Dillon, Teri Garr, Bob Balaban, Cary Guffey, and François Truffaut.
The film tells the story of Roy Neary, an everyday blue-collar worker in Indiana, whose life changes after an encounter with an unidentified flying object. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and movie starts at 7:00 p.m. $10 entry fee includes popcorn and soft drink. A cash bar serving beer and wine will also be available. MBACD will be hosting Movie night every third Thursday of the month.
