Miller 500

Since 2011, the MBACD has reinvigorated the Lake Street corridor. The proliferation of new businesses on and around Lake Street is a direct result of our efforts. If you’ve enjoyed the Farmers Market, First Fridays on Lake Street, or any of the events at the Marshall J. Gardner Center for the Arts, you have benefited from our volunteer efforts.

Now, we need your help. We have ongoing hard costs to maintain our arts center and keep our mission focused.

While grants from a variety of organizations, including the Knight Foundation, Legacy Foundation, South Shore Arts, the Indiana Arts Commission, and the Miller Community Fund, among others, help us sustain our programming, it is nearly impossible to find grant money to cover utilities, building repairs, and supplies.

You can help! Join the Miller 500 – a growing group of individuals who commit to supporting the MBACD and our mission.
