Works by Ginny Takacs and Sue Reyman.
Ginny Takacs is an oil painter who lives in an Indiana Dune community. She finds inspiration in the often-overlooked natural landscapes and beauty around her. Mostly self-taught, her artistic education stems from books, workshops, online exploration, and, most importantly, painting miles of canvas. With a presence in numerous juried shows and accolades garnered locally and nationally, Ginny’s work reflects a profound influence from the Russian impressionists, evident in her captivating, loose, and impressionistic style.
After retiring as an executive CEO, Susan Reyman realized she wanted to share the world she saw and experienced with others. After a transformative trip to India, she was determined to teach herself photography. Capturing the fleeting beauty of flora became a central theme permeating her work. Her photographs have been exhibited in domestic and international galleries, and a soon-to-be-published book is in the works. All proceeds from her sales go to Smile Train, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, and Opportunity International.
