Pilates is an art of controlled movements. It is a full brain-body immersive movement practice.
Pilates is practiced with controlled breathing, precision, body awareness & consistency.
It improves flexibility, builds strength, cultivates control & endurance in the entire body.
There is an emphasis on alignment & developing a strong foundation so that balance and coordination improve. Pilates systems allow for exercises to be adjusted and modified in range of difficulty for the most beginner student to advanced or any level in between. Intensity can be increased over time as the body adapts itself to the exercises.
The class is efficient & effective, it will leave you feeling empowered and energized so that you can move throughout your day with ease & JOY!
Angie Reens has a background in boutique fitness. She has 10+ years of movement experience including a certification in classical Pilates and Barre. Angie loves to support her soul mate students meet their health and wellness goals through a practice of gentle joyful movement. She is excited to bring her passion and knowledge for movement, health and wellness to a community of individuals seeking a safe space to move, explore and build a foundation of longevity through mindful movement. Angie graduated from Indiana State University with a degree in Marketing from the School of Business. Her true passion lies in movement and mindfulness where she feels connected, centered and grounded.
