Every Tongue Poetry Reading & Civics Event

Saturday, February 8, 6pm

Marshall J. Gardner Center For The Arts

Join Us for The Every Tongue Project!  A celebration of poetry and multilingualism addressing critical issues: homelessness, gun violence, and hunger.

Supported by The Gary Youth Poet Laureate Society Foundation and Urban Word’s National Youth Poet Laureate Program, this event uplifts the voices of youth and community members. Together, we explore the intersection of the poetic, political, and personal, fostering dialogue and change through the transformative power of language.  Participate in a poetry workshop-learn to create and share your voice.

Featuring Paij Rhymes, Gary’s First Youth Poet Laureate.
